It has been reported that on December 1 at 3 PM CET, it will launch an exclusive NFT drop featuring physical Prada clothing. First released in December 2019, this upcoming launch marks the brand’s seventh Timecapsule NFT collection. In this monthly event, customers can purchase limited edition items available for only 24 hours.
However, in detail, the collection includes 50 NFTs that are accompanied by festive gender-neutral sweaters. The white and red garments are made with Merino wool in a Norwegian jacquard stitch technique. It also features the brand's embroidered logo and “December” written on the back. Further, holders will get access to exclusive events and experiences. A few examples include invitations to global events like Prada Mode and Prada Extends.
The report said that this month, previous holders of Prada’s Timecapsule NFT collection have already reaped the benefits of the collection. Some have flown to Milan to attend a Prada fashion show as well as receive a private tour of the clothing collection.
Thus, Prada Crypted, the brand’s NFT division, marks its official step into Web3. With the release of their seventh Timecapsule NFT collection, they aim to attract new types of consumers. Through each collection, they’re able to showcase the power of fusing both the digital and physical worlds. Prada Crypted is also the name of the brand’s public discord server, used to connect fashion with the worlds of art.
